Basuki: Land Issue Is Still Major Constraint for RPTRA Development

Jakarta Governor Basuki Purnama Tjahaja admitted land issue is still a major constraint in the development of Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) in the capital.

"We’ll keep building. Our target is one RPTRA for every urban village," he expressed, on the sidelines of Meruya Utara Inauguration, West Jakarta, Tuesday (12/29).

However, public space should be equipped with closed circuit television (CCTV) and janitor. "This is for the sake of safety and hygiene public space," he asserted.

City Secretary's Assistant for Community Welfare, Fatahilah added in the near future his side would hold evaluation meetings related to the addition of several facilities in public space.

"It should install AC in library for making children more comfort while reading,” he closed.
